With the burning desire to bring God’s word to all people, the ministry of Bible translation was initiated in the year 2000. The tribal community of Gonds had never heard the word of God till ICGM began God’s work amongst them. Gonds are the largest tribe in India and they speak more than nine different dialects. The dialect, Muria Gondi is spoken by more than 400,000 people in Central India. The burden to reach out to the lost souls in this tribal community inspired Rev. Leslie Nagarajan to begin the ministry of translating the Bible into the Gondi language through ICGM.

Acts of Apostles were also translated followed by the translation of the entire New Testament. Currently, the Audio New Testament is being materialized for the Gondi Tribal Community. In the years to come with the grace of the Almighty we are earnestly working towards translating the entire Bible into Muria Gondi.
