Children build the future of the Church and of the nation, therefore it is immensely essential to bring them to the light and shower them with God’s love. In the Gonds community, several mothers die while giving birth to their children due to the lack of medical aid, and these little children are left orphaned and helpless. The community believes that since Tigers do not need help, human mothers should not need assistance either. Even the slightest complication during childbirth leads to certain death. The Siphorah Program was initiated in 1990 to aid motherless children from birth and offer them healthy and happy homes to grow up in. More than 50 such tribal children have been given new lives through Christ’s love.
In addition to the Siphorah Program, a Children’s Home was established in the year 2005 in the Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh to help abandoned and physically weak children by taking them in and bringing them up in the Lord. They are provided with healthy and nutritious food along with regular education. By God’s pure grace several of the young children are now in colleges or pursuing jobs in bigger cities. The majority of them aid in God’s work by spreading the Gospel of love and truth that found them, to the local tribes and communities. More than 150 children have been provided shelter and comfort that the Lord Almighty offers within the walls of the Children’s Home.
